Orthopaedic treatment.

Problems with the intervertebral discs, signs of wear and tear in the knees, hips or other joints: our body is subjected to enormous strain in the course of our lives, which becomes noticeable with time. Orthopaedic complaints are becoming increasingly common as patients are getting younger and younger. Pain is a constant companionBUT THIS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THE CASE.

There are many ways to treat pain, and it doesn’t always have to involve surgery. The treatment options are manifold, spanning from conservative treatments such as massages or physical and drug therapy to interventional radiology and surgeries.

Many ask themselves, “Which treatment option is the right one for me?” Finding out is the task of Austria’s interdisciplinary specialists.

Here, orthopaedists work together with physiatrists, neurologists, pain management specialists and many other top doctors in their field to find you the best solution. Whether it’s a knee prosthesis, hip prosthesis, arthroscopy, or osteosarcoma, you will receive the best possible treatment for your orthopaedic conditions in Austria.

To help you feel safe and taken care of, I will be available as your main contact person and companion throughout the entire treatment period.

I will answer any of your organisational questions – from diagnosis to treatment.

Answers to your most frequently asked questions:

Why should I come to Austria?
Austria offers the most modern treatment options in the world.

Orthopaedist, neurologist, physiatrist or pain management specialists: how do I find the best doctor for my specific case
I will find the right specialist for you depending on your medical background. By communicating with specialists from their respective fields, we can quickly and successfully ascertain who is most suitable for you.

Who will tell me which examinations are necessary?
You will let me know me about your discomfort (which treatments took place when) and I will inform you about the necessary examinations after having consulted with the doctor

Which examinations can I bring with me to save costs abroad?

Bring any results you may have from diagnostic imaging, blood work, past medical history. Bring any images from diagnostic imaging (ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI) with you.

Who will coordinate my examinations in Austria?
I will – so that you will have all of your results together when seeing the specialist. Should further medical examinations become necessary at short notice, I will also organise them for you. This saves time and money.

How quickly will I get an appointment?
Because we work closely with doctors, the wait time is very short.

Do I have to be on site for an examination, or can I merely have someone look at my results?
Of course, it is always better to be on site and to speak to the doctor directly, especially in order to eliminate any ambiguities. Yet it is also possible to make a “remote diagnosis” after all requested documents have been made available.

How long does the examination take?
If we have all of your results, only an appointment with your doctor will be necessary. Should we need any more results, we can organise this within the shortest possible time.

How soon can I start treatment?
If you are in Austria and would like to start with treatment immediately, then you may do so right away.
